Termite Inspections
Annual termite inspections are a must for homeowners. With termites able to cause significant damage in as little as 6 months, commended by all governments, building authorities and Australian Standards, recommend a professional termite inspection at least annually, but more often in areas of high termite pressure. Not only will the inspection identify the presence of termites and termite damage, but will identify building issue and conditions that may make a future termite attack more likely.
Termite Treatments
There are two parts to a termite treatment – the first part eradicates active termites from the building and the second part provides the long term protection from future termite attack. There are 2 types of termite protection system – soil treatments or termite baiting systems. Although we utilise both type of system, at Termites VIC we generally prefer Termidor soil treatments which come with a the Termidor $2 million Assurance Warranty.

In most cases spider pest control is covered in our general pest treatment. This “spider spray” is particularly effective on web-building spiders and provides a barrier to help prevent spiders entering the house. We only uses quality products with excellent safety profiles. However, it is still important for people and pets to be kept clear of treatment areas during application and until any treatment has dried.
When we carry out rodent treatments we pay particular attention to placement of any rodent place and always use lockable bait stations.
