Pest Control Services Chelsea

To keep homes pest free in Chelsea, most homeowners will require a general pest control treatment to provide year round protection from common pests. The treatments comes with a 6-month warranty and covers web-building spiders, large cockroaches, ants, silverfish and carpet beetles .

However, sometimes specialised pest control treatments are required for specific pests or major infestations. Common specialist treatments include rodent pest control, ants pest control, cockroach pest control and wasp nest removal.

We also provide commercial pest control services for a range of businesses and organisations in Chelsea. Commercial pest control requires regular servicing rather than one off treatments and we tailor these pest control programs to meet the requirements of the business and their specific pest problems.

Termite Control Services Chelsea

Termite Inspection Chelsea

Governments, building authorities and Australian Standards recommend homeowners get a professional termite inspection each year. Termite inspections are therefore essential for Chelsea homeowners. Not only will they record the presence of any termite activity or damage, it will also identify any conditions or construction issues that may make a termite attack more likely.

To support our experienced inspectors, we use the latest termite detection equipment including the FLIR E6 thermal imaging camera and Termatrac T3i. This ensures we get as much information as possible, which we include in our multi-page termite inspection report along with any recommendations for treatments and actions to make your house less attractive to termites.

Termite Treatment Chelsea

At Termites VIC we’re termite specialists and design the best termite treatment for your situation. Typically there are two parts to the treatment – elimination of active termites from the building and the installation of a termite management system to provide long term protection. We guarantee elimination of active termites from your building and can offer the $2 million  Timber Assurance warranty with Termidor treatments.

Termite Protection Chelsea

Although Chelsea is not in a termite declared area, if you are building a new house or carrying out renovations, it is strongly recommended to install termite protection during construction. Please contact us to discuss your project at the planning stage. At Termites VIC we only use quality products – Kordon or Termseal – to ensure your home is protected for the long term.

Pest Inspections Chelsea

Pest inspections or more correctly pre-purchase timber pest inspections, should be carried out before buying a house or bidding at an auction. These inspections are separate to the building inspection and are more involved than a termite inspection, as they also inspect for borers and timber decay.
